What we do with your data.

Who we are

Shots Fired NL is part of Derks Enterprise, based in Bemmel, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce 91207460). We are responsible for the data on this site and in our client galleries. Questions? Email info@shotsfirednl.com.

Quote and contact form

If you request a quote, we receive what you fill in: your name, email address, phone number and the details of your event. We use this to answer your request and make a quote. Your request arrives on our own server at Strato in the EU. The quotes we send you are stored there too. If you accept a quote online, we keep your name, the time and your IP address as proof of that acceptance.

Client gallery

We deliver photos in our client gallery. For that we keep:

• your email address and (if you fill it in) your name, so we know who has access and can let you know when the gallery goes offline;
• if you have a client area, the email addresses you log in with and when someone last logged in;
• when you visit the gallery, which photos you view, download or mark as favourite, and the comments you leave, so we can handle your selection properly;
• after a wrong password, your IP address for a short while, to prevent abuse. We delete it after fifteen minutes.

We only use this to carry out the job. Your email address does not go on a newsletter or mailing list, unless you choose that separately. At the latest 30 days after a gallery has gone offline, we delete the visitors' data.

Reviews

If you leave a review, we keep your name, your role or organisation, the event, your text and (if you fill it in) your email address. We only put your name, role and text online if you give permission and after we have checked the review. Your email address never appears on the site and we only use it to ask a question. Want us to remove your review? Email us and we will.

Photos of you

At events we take photos on behalf of the artist or organiser. Are you in a photo and would you rather not see it online? Email us with the photo and we will see with the client what we can do.

Who we share data with

We sell nothing and only share what is needed with the parties that run our site and gallery:

• Strato hosts this site, the quote form and the client gallery and sends our emails. Everything is on servers in the EU.
• Adobe Fonts provides our typeface. Your browser sends your IP address to Adobe for this. Adobe says it does not store it and does not use cookies.

Clicking our links to Instagram or WhatsApp takes you to those services. Their own privacy rules apply there.

Cookies

On this site we do not use cookies to track you, and no analytics or advertising cookies. In the client gallery we only set functional cookies: one to keep you logged in while your browser is open, one that remembers your email address for six months so you do not have to fill it in every time, one that remembers your language, and in your client area one that keeps you logged in for 60 days.

How long we keep it

• Quote requests and quotes without a job: one year at most.
• Data of clients with a job: as long as the law requires for our accounts, usually seven years.
• Visitors and activity in the client gallery: until 30 days at the latest after the gallery goes offline.
• Reviews: as long as they are on the site, or until you ask us to remove them.

Security

Galleries can only be viewed with a password or a personal link, and everything runs over a secure connection. Our storage is shielded from outsiders.

Your rights

You can always ask what data we have about you, and have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to how we use it. Email info@shotsfirednl.com and you will hear from us within a month. Not happy with how we handle it? You can file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
